Inspired by the birth of my son in December of 1989, I began to offer privately commissioned portraits of children with very positive response. I have subsequently expanded my repertoire to include portrait commissions of adults and pets.

I am currently represented by Portraits North in Lexington, Massachusetts.

Upon graduation from the Art Institute of Boston, I began working as a freelance illustrator/graphic designer for numerous advertising agencies and publishing houses in the Boston area.

In 1985 I returned to art school in pursuit of my passion for charcoal and pastel drawing and specialized in figure drawing and portraiture.
